PicoSure Toning

An innovation of pico seconds that is 1,000 times faster than conventional toning, premium whitening that finely crushes and removes only melanin pigments.

Procedure Description

PicoSure Toning is a high-performance pigment treatment procedure that irradiates laser in pico seconds, which is 1,000 times faster than conventional nanosecond lasers, breaking down melanin pigments in the skin into fine particles like sand. Using a special wavelength of 755nm Alexandrite light, which has an exceptionally high absorption rate for melanin pigments, it selectively targets only melasma, freckles, blemishes, and stubborn spots without causing thermal damage to the surrounding normal skin tissue. While reducing pain and irritation, it enhances the pigment decomposition power, quickly resetting a dull complexion to a transparent and clear state.

Procedure Effect

1.

Using a 755nm wavelength, it precisely treats deep melasma and stubborn pigments that are not easily addressed by conventional toning.

2.

With pico second technology that delivers powerful energy in an instant and then dissipates, it reduces epidermal irritation, lowering the risk of side effects such as hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation after the procedure.

3.

It breaks down pigment particles while promoting regeneration of the dermis, alleviating fine lines and smoothing the overall skin texture.

4.

The burning heat sensation is significantly reduced, making the procedure comfortable and quick, with only a light tingling feeling, even without anesthetic cream.

Recommended Target

1.

Individuals with widespread light freckles, blemishes, and melasma on the entire face, resulting in a dull and messy complexion.

2.

Those who have consistently undergone more than 10 sessions of conventional laser toning but have not seen significant improvement in pigmentation.

3.

Individuals stressed by suddenly darkened persistent melasma or pigmented spots around the cheeks after childbirth.

4.

Those who are concerned about side effects such as redness or breakouts on the face after laser treatment due to sensitive skin.

Precautions

1.

You can lightly cleanse and apply makeup on the day of the procedure, but please do not rub your face vigorously.

2.

After the procedure, the melanin pigments that were latent may temporarily appear slightly darker or may form imperceptible micro-scabs, but they will naturally disappear within a few days during cleansing.

3.

Due to laser stimulation, the skin may temporarily become dry, so please apply moisturizing cream and regeneration cream generously during home care.

4.

To prevent pigment recurrence and enhance treatment effectiveness, it is essential to apply sunscreen thoroughly whenever going outside.

5.

Please avoid activities that generate strong heat on the skin, such as excessive drinking, sauna, or jjimjilbang use, for a week.

FAQ

What is the difference between general pico toning (1064nm) and pico sure toning?

The main difference lies in the types of wavelengths used in the laser and the response of melanin. General pico toning primarily uses a wavelength of 1064nm to commonly treat deep dermal pigmentation. In contrast, pico sure toning utilizes a 755nm alexandrite wavelength, which has a much higher absorption rate for the pigment (melanin) itself. Thanks to this, it avoids stimulating surrounding blood vessels or normal tissues, precisely targeting only spots and melasma, allowing for much more accurate and rapid breakdown of pigmentation.

Will my face become whiter after just one session? How many sessions are needed?

You may temporarily experience a tone-up effect that brightens your overall complexion immediately after the first treatment. However, it is difficult to completely break down the roots of melasma or spots that are layered deep within the skin with just one session. To safely and effectively remove pigmentation without irritation, it is generally recommended to undergo a minimum of 5 to more than 10 regular cumulative treatments at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks to achieve clear and transparent skin without blotchiness.
