Acne
Before receiving acne treatment <Important Notes>

This is a photo taken with the consent of a client who actually received treatment at Ulsan Snow Clinic, captured under the same conditions without any retouching.
All skin treatments may have side effects such as inflammation, pigmentation, and redness.
Hello. This is Ulsan Snow Clinic.
“I have been to a dermatologist.
I took medication. But it comes back.”
“I had laser treatment and care, but
it gets better for a moment and then comes back.”
If you are struggling with acne,
you may have had this experience at least once.
You've tried all the recommended methods,
spent money on expensive cosmetics,
and visited several clinics...
Yet, in the moment of "again...",
I believe you must have felt truly upset.
'Is it just my skin that is unusual??'
'Do I have to live like this for the rest of my life??'
I have also pondered similar concerns,
so I understand your feelings better than anyone.

So today,
Why does acne keep recurring,
and what criteria should be used for treatment
to stop that recurrence?
Based on my experiences in dermatology, I will
honestly share my thoughts.
1. Acne is not just a 'surface' issue
"When I get acne, I should pop it right away!"
"Using a good cleanser will make it go away."
Many people think this way.
In fact, this is based on only what is visible.
You are making a judgment.
Milia, inflammatory, pustular, nodular...
Although the shapes are different, acne is ultimately
a problem that starts within the skin.
Sebaceous glands are excessively activated
and dead skin cells do not shed properly
causing pores to become clogged and bacteria to proliferate
leading to inflammation that keeps recurring...
This vicious cycle is
continuously happening deep within the skin.

But what about most treatments?
We only try to eliminate visible troubles.
Of course, it may look better for a while,
but the root cause remains.
It will inevitably come back.
2. Accurate Diagnosis
You might think it's a common saying that
diagnosis is important.
However, in reality, there are many places that approach it as
-> if it's acne, then this treatment.
There are actually more than you think.
The causes of acne are
It is completely different for everyone.
Some people experience hormonal imbalance due to stress and lack of sleep
which increases sebum production.
Others may have improper cleansing habits
that lead to the accumulation of dead skin cells, clogging the pores.
Some may have a weakened skin barrier due to incompatible cosmetics.
This can leave the skin in a vulnerable state.
Receiving the same treatment
will not yield the same results.

Therefore, at Snow Clinic, we start all acne treatments with
Markview PrecisionDiagnosis method.
How much sebum is being produced
What is the moisture retention capacity
Is the skin exfoliating properly
What is the condition of the skin barrier

Only after accurately confirming all of this with numbers
can we determine the appropriate treatment direction.
3. Equipment
These days, acne treatment equipment
has really improved.
Potenza, Pico Laser, Agnes, CO2, Gold PTT...
However even with the same equipment why are the results different at each hospital?
It's not just about the name of the equipment,
but rather ‘how it is set up and used’ that makes the difference.

For example, even just looking at the Potenza
What output was set
What is the depth of the treatment in mm
What tip was used
Is it sebum, inflammation, or a scar...
What was the target?
Each of these conditions is different
and the stimuli and results that the skin accepts will be completely different.
Just because it's the same equipment
does not mean the same effect can be achieved.
This is why we cannot perform treatments with a uniform 'setting' for all patients.
4. 1:1 Customized Treatment
Acne is not a simple condition that can be resolved with ‘one treatment for one cause’.
Sebum, keratin, inflammation, barrier, regeneration, scars...
Although acne may appear the same on the surface,
the underlying conditions vary from person to person.
That’s why I have invested
over 1 billion won in equipment.

Having many devices
is not just for appearance,
but because there are often many cases where treatment with a single device is insufficient.
If inflammation recurs, medication or anti-inflammatory injections should be combined,
if the barrier is compromised, soothing care or LDM,
if there is sebum and comedones together, peeling + regenerative care,
if there are scar-like changes, Fraxel or Potenza is needed.
What is important is not the devices themselves,
but whether one can determine what combination is needed for my skin right now.
Therefore, rather than having more equipment,
I believe that the 'usable range' should
be broad in the right place.
<Conclusion>
In treating acne, I believe
that addressing the root cause properly
is ultimately the fastest and most certain way.
It's not just about eliminating visible troubles
Finding the cause of why it keeps occurring
And then proceeding with treatment that matches that cause
is the only way to achieve results that do not recur.
Of course, it may take a little more time.
But rather than wasting money and time repeating for years,
doing it right from the start is ultimately faster.
Based on accurate diagnosis
Individualized customizedtreatment plans are established
And we take responsibility for ongoing management
If you receive treatment here,
it can definitely lead to change.
We sincerely hope that everyone who is currently struggling with acne
can regain a comfortable daily life without the stress of recurrence.
